4th Locally Grown Words Summer Book Fair on May 3

It should be a fantastic turnout at the 4th Locally Grown Words Summer Book Fair!

At least 40 local authors of various genres will be represented at the event on Sunday, May 3 to interact with members of the local literary communities as well as have books available for sale.

As for me, I will be there to make available for sale my poetry collection “How Fate’s Confusion Connects” and the poetry anthology I had recently collaborated, “Looking Life in the Eye,” the third volume from the Poets of Central Florida series. You can check out my blog  my blog post about the latter anthology.

The event is from new to 4 p.m. at the East End Market in Winter Park.

This is the first Locally Grown Words Book Fair I ever participated in. I had visited the one last December. Let me tell you, if I enjoyed as an attendee, meeting the wonderful authors on a beautiful Florida sunny day, I bet I’ll have just as much fun as a featured author!

Besides indulging in the words of authors, there will be many option where to get food and beverages from. East End Market has several choices including coffee, bread and pastries, local produce and international fare.

Admission is free. To learn more about the event, go to its Facebook page, the Bookmark It website and the East End website.
